I’ve used both before but I can’t seem to pick out the difference other then MySQL has somewhat of a GUI base to it via web browser for easy editing.

How can you say it won’t work? it is on a webserver just it is not in a public directory so people cannot abuse it. I’ve used cronjobs on other sites that didn’t use cpanel and they worked fine?

The problem is that when the browser renders the data that pulled from my sql, the variable stays as $user for example rather than changing to what I needed to.
